Give your child the gift of Igbo! Our fun and interactive group classes are designed for children aged 6 to 14, helping them develop a strong foundation in listening, speaking, reading, and writing Igbo. Classes are age-appropriate, playful, and full of games, stories, songs, and activities that make learning natural and engaging.
Through weekly live sessions, children learn core Igbo vocabulary and sentence structures while exploring Igbo culture, traditions, and expressions. Activities encourage participation, practice, and confidence, all in a supportive and friendly environment.
By the end of the program, kids will be able to understand and hold basic conversations, use common expressions confidently, and begin reading and writing in Igbo. Whether your child is a heritage speaker, a curious learner, or just starting their journey with the language, these classes are designed to make Igbo fun, engaging, and meaningful.

This course is designed for children aged 6–14 who want to learn Igbo in a fun, interactive group environment. No prior knowledge is required. Classes are tailored to be age-appropriate, engaging, and supportive for different skill levels within this range.
Classes use standard Igbo and focus on listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Lessons are highly interactive with games, songs, stories, and cultural activities that make learning fun while building a solid foundation in the language.
Each live class is instructor-led and interactive. Children learn new words and phrases, practice speaking, repeat after the teacher, and participate in fun activities to reinforce learning. Classes emphasize understanding meaning and correct pronunciation through playful practice.
All classes are recorded. If a child misses a session or wants to review, recordings are available so they can practice and stay on track with the program.
Children receive supportive materials to reinforce learning, including:
- Colorful study guides
- Audio pronunciation clips
- Practice worksheets
- Access to class recordings
These resources help children practice at home and solidify their skills.
The program runs for 12 weeks and includes:
- 1 live Zoom class per week (65 minutes)
- Short practice activities between sessions
